I worked for many years as an industrial photographic technician specializing in precision photography. I have also supplied Photoshot Picture Library with various images for over 20 years, with my photographs appearing in numerous publications such as The Times newspaper, Sunday Telegraph and The Discovery Channel Website to name but a few. In May/June 2011 I had my first exhibition at the Les Livres Gallery in Colchester entitled "Urban Abstracts".

Recent years I have concentrated on creating assemblage sculptures.  These are built in my workshed using many of my late fathers tools. It is important to me to not only use recycled and found items in my sculptures but to also use recycled tools as much as possible to build the sculptures as well.

Throughout my career as a precision technical photographer I developed an eye for attention to detail and I hope this combined with my love of all nature and its many textures shines through in the sympathetic pieces I create.

I have exhibited at numerous Wivenhoe Art trails with the main feedback from visitors being that my creations and accompanying sculpture character bios make them smile. With this in mind, in 2022/2023 I wrote a children’s book called Oil Can Bob and The Recycylites.

The book tells the story of a man called Dougal who makes sculptures out of recycled junk. The sculptures come to life and are superheroes, each one carefully crafted and unique. They are the Recyclites and they keep the planet tidy with their recycling efforts. Until one day something happens that threatens their hard work and the future of the planet.

Im also working at transformining this into an animation.
